Immigration Evaluations ($1,000)
-
Adam Walsh Waivers: These waivers are related to U.S. immigration cases where a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (LPR) with a criminal conviction related to child abuse under the Adam Walsh Act seeks to sponsor a foreign family member. The waiver allows them to still petition for family-based immigration despite these convictions, but approval is rare and involves proving that they pose no risk to the beneficiary.
-
Asylum: A form of protection granted to foreign nationals in the U.S. who have suffered or fear persecution due to their race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group.
-
Hardship Waiver: A waiver granted to certain inadmissible individuals based on extreme hardship to a qualifying U.S. citizen or permanent resident, often in cases of immigration violations or unlawful presence.
-
T-Visa: A nonimmigrant visa that provides immigration relief to victims of human trafficking who assist law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of trafficking cases. It offers protection, work authorization, and a pathway to permanent residency.
-
U-Visa: A visa for victims of certain crimes (such as domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking) who have suffered substantial physical or mental abuse and are willing to assist law enforcement or government officials in investigating or prosecuting the criminal activity. This visa also provides a pathway to permanent residency.
VAWA (Violence Against Women Act): This allows certain abused spouses, children, and parents of U.S. citizens or permanent residents to file for immigration benefits independently of their abuser. It provides protection and relief for victims of domestic violence without requiring the abuser’s cooperation in the immigration process.
Court-Ordered Mental Health Evaluations ($500)
I offer comprehensive court-ordered mental health evaluations tailored to your legal needs. These evaluations include an in-depth clinical interview, psychological testing, and a detailed review of medical, mental health, and legal records. My goal is to provide a clear, objective assessment of an individual’s mental health, diagnosing any psychological conditions and evaluating their impact on behavior, decision-making, and competency in court proceedings. I also offer professional recommendations for treatment, interventions, or accommodations, assisting with legal decisions related to competency, sentencing, probation, and other court-mandated interventions.
PTSD Evaluations
I also specialize in PTSD evaluations for individuals who have experienced trauma, such as car accidents. Using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews, I diagnose PTSD and evaluate the severity and impact of symptoms. Each evaluation provides a detailed report outlining diagnostic impressions, treatment recommendations, and prognosis. Whether for legal purposes or personal healing, my PTSD evaluations offer valuable insights into the emotional and psychological effects of trauma and support individuals in receiving the care they need.
